I'm thinking about buying a pedal tuner, and I'm trying to decide between the Boss TU-3 and the Korg Pitchblack. Both are +/- 1 cent and cost about $100. What are the strengths/weaknesses of the two? Any other ideas for a pedal tuner around $100? Thanks for any information you can provide.

i have a pitchblack and i love it, easy to read, mad accurate.

however if i had to call out a con, i'd note that i've found it takes time to warm up if it's been in a cold car getting to a show, it'll give me a few blank seconds up front before kicking in when i First turn it on. not a big deal, just worth noting.

Also, one thing that may bother folks about the Korg....

A guy I was on tour with bought one because he liked mine so much. He uses a daisy chain and for some reason, the daisy chain out didn't work on the Korg.

I don't like those daisy chains, but I do know a lot of folks use them.

But performance and accuracy-wise, it'll leave those Boss pedals in the dust.

When you say daisy chain, are you referring to the guitar signal or the power out?
