Played for a surprise 50th birthday party. There were skits going on, showgirls, Elvis, Elton John etc. so we played two 20 minute sets and then two 45 minute sets as well. It was a blast playing with the guys. I hadn't seen our other guitar player in over 10 years.

He arrived the night before and we practiced from 9:30pm until 3:30am. Lotsa fun, a few brewskis, it was just a great night of practice with the guys.

Here's the stage, pretty low ceiling. My new light rig didn't arrive in time, so this is my old stuff. Still worked out pretty good! For the gig we all wore white long sleeve shirts, black ties, fedoras and shades. Kind of a blues brothers look. Got some interes or other possible gigs as well!!

Around here, you could play blow at high dough back to back all night, and they'd still want to hear it again.

We only had that many songs rehearsed. Our bass player and guitarist hadn't really played much since 2000 so those were the songs we had rehearsed, had to repeat some for "encores"

Got asked to play a Christmas party but I'm already booked that day. Also booked for a pig roast in the spring. We figure maybe 3 gigs a year. Work on the full set list we had. People loved the song choice. Of course it's our crowd, 35+ but there were all ages dancing and having fun!
