Members doezer
hi y'all myself and duo partner have laid down some videos for promos to send around... i need to do basic editing on them and would prefer if icould find some freeware to get it done (?)... you knwo changing tsart and end points, putting a banner which rolls across the bottom, maybe fading one tune out and the next one in, with like a page turn effect... that kind of thing. ive seen a lot of you folks here have stuff up like that... could you suggest a package that might do the job for this?? thanksd
Members jwlussow
I don't know of any freeware video editing programs that will do all that. You might need to look at some paid apps.
Members Mike McLaughlin
I haven't worked with it much, but I believe "Windows Live Movie Maker" will do basic editing, captions, and transitions. It's free.
Members Telecruiser
The words "good" and "free" don't usually go together.
Members daklander
Check this page. It has Applications ranging from quite easy, ie. Movie Maker, to very high learning curve. For what you are stating is your goal any of them will work, it's just your choice as to how difficult and how many features you want.

Members Howie22
The Sony movie software will give you a 30 day free trial. It was a VERY robust software program and worked very well for my needs. It did WAY more than I ever needed it to.
