Harmonizer in midi units

intelligent = diatonic (adjusting for number of steps due to variations in scale WWHWWWH)

non-intelligent= chromatic ( still harmony, but each note added will be the same number of steps from the note played. Works fairly well for 5ths and 4ths. 1/2 step sounds like the bad robot bill and ted when the SG gets thrown back on to the bed.)

non-intelligent =

digitech whammy

rocktron intellifex (great chorus and delay)

tc electronic g major (Not made in Denmark, mucho tonesuck)

intelligent=

digitech dhp 33, 55 $200-$400 (great deal)

Rocktron intellipitch (rare)

Tc electronic g force (these are a nice value)

pretty much any eventide unit.

Thanks.

Sorry I should have explained than I mean diatonic harmonizer, but I'm old school and when I say harmonizer I mean these magical things that analyze the pitch and add the diatonic harmony to the right scale. The rest are just pitch shifters in my world.

Do you have any experience with the digitech? Does it track well?
