I'd be concerned about getting the levels right; I used to have the Echo Pro and Filter Pro and I don't remember if they're switchable between line/instrument level. They're nice units, though, the MIDI control is great, and they're true bypass. The Mod Pro will certainly color your tone when it's on- it's a dozen or so models of vintage stompboxes!- but the bypass performs as advertised.
