Members wheresgrant3
I use a Yamaha MG10/2 in my keyboard setup both at home and at gigs. I'm looking for a second small mixer so I can duplicate my setup live and I don't have to dismantle my home setup every weekend. I'm up for the Yammy again but I'm open to suggestions. Any recommendations? I'm seeing these low cost USB mixers arrive from Alesis and other companies. This looks like a good fit for my home use... although I could give two hoots about fxs. What exactly does USB capability provide. Am I correct in assuming these work similar to a USB Audio interface? Alesis 8 Input Mixer

CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted November 30, 2004 CMS Author Share Posted November 30, 2004 Looks like that Alesis will input directly to your PC, and has 1/4" outs for main, monitor and phones. Could be good if that's what you need. It's only got four XLR in's...is that enough?

Members Unalaska
Yes but 1/4 stereo inputs are prolly a premium for you. Mackie 1202 would be my first recommendation. I'd gig with the mackie sonce it is more robust and also doesn't require a external power supply.
