Members skacore_luke
yeah so... the title says it all really. i have a peavey cs1000 (2x 500w @ 4 ohms/330w @ 8 ohms) and i have a couple of peavey pr15s which don't quite cut it for a small vocal/horns pa in pubs unless i push it more than is probably healthy and i want to get some new speakers. based in the uk so brands like yorkville and carvin which look to be mentioned a fair bit on here don't seem to be available round here. tends to be used for punk/ska/reggae bands and i sometimes put the kick through it. very tight budget. desk is a soundcraft folio sx
Members flanc
Some Peavey SP2's should work and give you a bit of low end for a minor amount of kick. They'll be way heavier than the PR15's. Also check for Yamaha Club series speakers or the used market.
Members agedhorse
My experience w/ the PR-15's is that they are pretty inefficent compared to the SP line.
