Members wheresgrant3
Which of the following building materials provide challenges for running sound. I know a few carpeted rooms we play in can be challenging to get a good mix. On saturday we played a romm with a long and wide rectangular layout and the floors were wood. Just curious to see if there are any preferences to dealing with different sized rooms, floor coverings and building materials.
Members PJR
IME, the more reflective the surrounding surfaces....generally will require a bit more attention in getting decent sound. But also to take into consideration are size , shape and build of the room. ( cement floors / ceiling height / wall construction , etc ) Regardless......a packed room always seems to sound better.
