Members Smitty-PNS
So after reading the article I'm thinking... 24 Meyer UPJ-1Ps plus matching subs for their 200 seat "new music building's recital hall".... Isn't that just a little overkill? Why not just buy 200 quality headphones and jack them into the arm rests on the chairs?
Members postbop64
Good point. I was hoping the article would talk more about the differences between the various speakers.

Members agedhorse
Ahhh, performing arts center technical masterbation. If they would only get the basics right first. Can't tell you the number of times I have seen the "staff" struggle with getting the correct $1000+++ mic turned on in the "mix" of a solo mic. Thoroughly embarrasing. Unfortunately geting the basics down is nowhere near as sexy as buying new gear with other people's money.
