Members pktaskes
Anyone notice this? Looks like they got pulled finally. Wonder if they were real or a knock off. They kept coming up under my auto search for an Ernie Ball Axis guitar. They were like $30 each.
Members Monkeywork
great. This is why I know the name of the guy at my local music store. When I need something I go there, if he doesn't have it, I'll order it. My career depends on something working when I plug it in. Very few second takes on a screw up. Members where02190
I would never consider a mic purchase on e-bay personally, and I rarely buy off there, too risky.
Members Monkeywork
it's not bad if you concider you're buying a 'pig-in-a-poke' and for various hobbies it is a good source of parts or long lost bits. But for my job? No way. I want that warentee and someone to scream at if it fails in the field.
CMS Author Craig Vecchione Posted January 5, 2007 CMS Author Share Posted January 5, 2007 My concern is that some of the local music stores will take advantage of buying their stock for less than normal dealer cost too......

It won't take long to acquire a bad rep for this kind of activity.
Members ATOMICDOG1
I talked to Shure about this a while back. It seems that this is a pretty regular occurence on Ebay. Shure actually actively searches Ebay to find counterfeits and then has them pulled and refers them to the authorities. usually the counterfeit auctions only last a couple of hours before they are discovered. Members MrSandMan
That's scary!!! I puchased a brand new SM57 for $60 shipped. Guess I was lucky to buy from a good seller.
Members kobe
There seems to be a lot of seemingly dodgy Sennhiesers E845 on there too, I emailed one seller asking about their authenticity, not surprisingly he never replied!
