Members ned911
We have been booked into a smaller club that still pays well. Last week was our first gig there and the SRX rig was way to much, ended up running the mixer at a little less than half way to unity. I've got a pair of Yorkie NX35's, a PLX2402 and DBX234XL cross over sitting around that I think will work really well in these smaller clubs. What I don't have is a sub to match the NX35's. So fire away at the suggestions - prefer a powered sub. First thoughts are NX720P, LS700P or even the LS200P (might not be enough). Requirements are small, light and of course as cheap as possible. Members agedhorse
So what if you end up running your rig at a lower level. Maybe the SRX rig is just fine???
Members jbutler1982
The LS700P is a great value, and I can't recommend it higher. It can fill a small venue and sounds great paired with a Beta 52 on the kick and a DI'd bass guitar. I love the tight sound - very non-boomy (could be the mic on that though) and just great punch. Tiny footprint too. The only that thats really annoying is that the power cord doesn't detach so you have to be careful loading / unloading it. -John
