Would they sound good for music playback...DJ type stuff. Of course a subwoofer would be used with them. Theres a repair shop that has a pair of them locally for sale for $450.Says all the drivers are new. I'm guessing nobody else has either. $450's not much, but it's not a speaker I'd jump all over for what you're wanting to do.
