Members Marko Posted July 12, 2008 Members Share Posted July 12, 2008 Yamaha EMX 88s (part of my occasional SOS rig) I'm embarrassed, as I should know this , but... if I add an external effects processor to this unit, will it bypass/eliminate the use of the built-in effects, or can I use them both at the same time? One page shows a diagram of how it might be used for a small band, showing mics, instrument, an external effects processor and a footswitch plugged into the mixer. The following is written under the diagram: --------Although this example shows an external effects processor and footswitch, which is used to turn on and off the built-in digital effects processor, connected to the EMX88S, in practice, only one effects processor, internal or external, will be used at a time, so the footswitch is not required when using external effects. -------- So Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
