Members mdd30
Has anyone here had a broken Audix OM-2 fixed? Was it worth it? I have one that's broken, and thought about seein' if I could get it fixed and leave it in the practice room so that I wouldn't be taking mics back and forth. I don't know how much they'd charge, and I only paid $40 for it in the first place (used), but I want a decent mic for practice. I don't really have $100 for a new sm58 (and I wouldn't buy one used with all the counterfeiters out there).
Members mdd30
OR, can anyone suggest a decent mic for practice for $50 or less? I don't really want a Behringer, heard too many bad things about them. I was looking at maybe Audix f50, AT M4000, AT Pro 41, or AKG D8000

Members oldschooler
Best bet is to send it in to get repaired. I own 5 myself and been very happy with them.
