Members philw44
Sorry to ruin the POD love in but i disagree, they are turd. Infact, i can't think of anything Line 6 has made that isn't a complete waste of money. The Axe-FX is the best sounding amp modeller i have heard (thus far). Guitar Rig 3 is pretty good too but you'll need a good spec mac/pc that is dedicated to simply run this software to avoid reliability issues. Have you thought about just getting a smaller amp? Eg.Orange Tiny terror and a nice 1x12? I'm sure that wouldn't hurt too much.

I have also heard some horrible applications of the Pod that may or may not have sounded better with a conventional amp.
Members liamtarpey
true - the pocketpod express does the trick, cheap and simple. i don't play with many effects - i feel it can cover up good playing, and i prefer to try acheiving certains sounds with minimal effects
