Members John H. Power
What would be a good PA setup for just singing in the home environment? Something compact but with a decent sound that could handle 2 mics? I prefer not to spend more than $500 - $600. Thanks
Members agedhorse
Perhaps a good quality single powered speaker with either a simple small mixer or with 2 inputs on the powered mixer would be the best appraoch and leave upgrade paths available for the future. Members jwlussow
A single EON 15 G2 has two mic/line ins. It is loud and a pretty decent speaker for what it is. These will handle 2 mics and sound good doing it.
Members John H. Power
Thanks for the ideas. I do not want to buy too much PA since it is only for the living room but maybe I am going to have to spend that much to get 2 mic capability. The EON is on clearance at Musician's Friend for about $

Members banddad
If it's just for vocals, a 12" speaker is fine (or even a 10"), and lighter, and smaller, and sounds just as good - with vocals.
