Add-On Phantom Power?

Our Church is migrating from an old sound system to a new one, with a remote sound booth with a new (to us) donated sound board (the "B" word).

The two lectern microphones require phantom power, other microphones, including wireless and hand-held SM58's don't. The donated sound board (which we reach via a hidden 100' snake) is all-or-nothing on phantom power. Is there a device I can purchase that will provide in-line phantom power for each of the lectern mic's before connecting to the snake and sending to the sound board? With both xlr and 1/4 line ins available at the sound board, can I safely use phantom power on all channels even if some of the microphones don't need it?

Thanks,

JN

Unless you have old ribbon mics, or other esoteric mics, global phantom power is just fine. You won't hurt the dynamic mics or the wireless receivers.

Phantom power is only applied to the XLR inputs.

And yes, there are phantom power supplies that will do what you're asking, but it doesn't sound like you need any.
