Members basschaplain
I'm thinking of having an adapter made to orient the speaker downward, say, 7.5 degrees. Something I can put over the end of my existing stands and able to take off when I want the speaker strait out.Anyone know of something like this already available? Members srp72ee
Something I can put over the end of my existing stands... Sounds unsafe to me for a number of reasons. Stand strength and center of gravity to start with... What speaker? What are your existing stands? Are they tripods? 7.5 Degrees is not that much, why only 7.5? Members TheDoctorMo
7.5 Degrees is not that much, why only 7.5? It's enough for the QSC K series.

It's doable safely...within reason.
Members agedhorse
The center of gravity of the box in the tilted position must be considered when identifying placement position. It will end up being a compromise between the straight and tilted conditions.
Members basschaplain
The K&M version is the design I was thinking of. But adding $83 to each stand? The BT-12 makes good sense with balance considered, but seems like it is still going through testing. I've survived this long, so it might be worth the wait.
