Members MattM3
Question... I run my laptop into my PA to play music between sets. I noticed the other day that I was getting a radio station in the background coming from the laptop. I unplugged the power supply to the laptop and it stopped. So when the laptop is on battery, no radio station. Under power supply, radio station. I searched for it online and it seems that the power supply can pick up radio signals and play them through the computer speakers. So how do I get this to stop? Is there some kind of AC filter that will stop that? Thanks! M3
Members agedhorse
Output of the laptop audio through a transformer isolated direct box and lift the pin one ground on the DI shuld solve your problem. If you must run stereo, you need 2 channels of DI or a 2 channel AV type DI is another option.
