Members sunburstbasser
Gustav Holst wrote a crapload of music for military/concert bands that is still highly regarded today. Then tell them that the trumpets MAKE Mahler 5 and that Mozart had a clarinet fetish. Then stab them in the neck with an oboe.

I've tried to tell them that the winds are even better but they all think that the winds are easy(next to choir/chorus)

Members Robybass
I play bass and sax and whoever says that any instrument is easier than the other, never played the one they consider easy.Every instrument is diferent and has it's master. Not everyone can master an instrument. If your friends don't like wind instruments, practice and master your instrument, and as they hear the beautifull melody you play, I'm shure it will change their opinion.
