Members thebigpong
Im in the market for a new board and am stuck between two boards.. A&H zed 436 and the A&H gl2400 32. Both have 32 channels and are very similar(the gl2400 being a little more "professional") but the zed 428 does not have a polarity switch. Is this really that big of a deal? How often do you switch polarity? And if you dont say when micing snare top and bottom will it sound that bad? Members Mutha Goose
If you've been around here long enough, you already know the answer.... It depends.
Members agedhorse
generally not a big deal for most applications but it depends. A polarity reversing adapter will also work for when the feature is needed on a channel, like a bottom snare channel perhaps.

Members witesol
there's more than just the polarity swith difference between the two mixers, although that's one of the items left off.. the input head amps are different, no pad. no lamp socket. all the connections are on the top surface too
