Members Ryan.
So I have this outdoor speaker set I got for my birthday and its been working like a charm since I got it. There is a little hub that I plug my iPod or whatever into indoors and it sends a signal to the speakers outside. I decided I wanted the wireless hub to be upstairs in my bedroom so I can just hook it directly to my desktop computer and have access to my full list of music. Since I did that I notice the signal tends to fade in and out. Are there any easy ways to amplify a wireless signal? You know... like putting foil on the antennae? Members dboomer
Not without re-inventing the wheel. I'm assuming your are working in the 2.4G range where antenna lengths are critical ... tin foil ain't gonna happen. Just the act of swapping antennas is difficult if they weren't specifically intended to wok that way. That said ... there are all kinds of specialty antennas (with gain) that could help you. Google 2.4G antennas.

Maybe I'll try other positions.
Members dboomer
OK ... so they're in the 900Mhz band, but everything still applies. Best I think you can do is follow good radio practices. Get the antennas up in the air. 6-7 feet is good, flat on the ground is bad.
