Members heath_eld
Hey, i have a few issues with noise on my guitar. when my pedal board is plugged in it is quiet enough (pedal board is self contained with an amp sim pedal going into a DI and a powered speaker) when i plug us in my guitar and turn it up, it introduces buzz. This buzz is reduced but not eliminated by touching metal parts of guitar. not unplayable but irritating. now my question: does the fact that the buzz is controlled by my guitars volume indicate that the problem is with the guitar? Members Danocoustic
The problem is most likely with the guitar, yes. Many other factors involved---type of pickups, level of shielding, outboard sources of radio-frequency noise. Need more info.
