I'm a guitarist, singer, and keyboardist looking to get a usable powered speaker setup for practicing with a band. Over the past year or so, I've moved toward a "direct" setup that's ideal for plugging into a PA for live shows, but need something to suffice for amplifying my vocals and instruments above the levels of a dynamic drummer at practice when a PA isn't present. Despite being extremely well versed with guitar and keyboard gear, I'm absolutely out of my league with PA equipment, so is there something you guys would recommend that's of good quality but not exorbitantly/prohibitively expensive?
