Members Syyle
I have my molds made by my audiologist, and I may be picking up my receiver/bodypack in the next few days. I think that all I need are the molds turned into my isolation ear pieces with the headphones built in. Do any of you recommend a good source? I am not looking to spend a fortune, somewhere between $250-$350 for the whole operation. I think I have some SCL2 ear buds already, should I have those put in my custom molds? Members Mogwix
SCL2's are pretty horrible. I have the SCL3's and they're pretty bad as well. I would order a new set of custom buds from Ultimate Ears. Get whichever custom set you can afford. They're pretty specific on how they want the molds made, so hopefully they were done properly. Members abzurd
I received mine this week and did a review on them - Alien Ears FR-AE3. I don't think you'll do any better for the money.
Members TimmyP
Ultimate Ears does not seem to offer the quality of customer service that they did back when the Harvey's owned the company. Fortunately, the Harvey's are back in the game: http://www.jhaudio.com/collection.php
