Members Reddog1
My 5 piece band has a gig coming up for a festival, we will be playing in a beer tent. Not sure yet how big the tent is or how many people are expected. Anyway, i think it would be a good idea to combine the speakers and subs that another bandmember and I own. Here is what we use in the bars: 2 Peavey SP5's powered with 500 watts a side1 or 2 Yamaha club subs powered with 300 watts a sideA Mackie boardand my bandmate's dbx driverack (not sure what model) Is there a way we can add his powered Ion tops and powered subs into the chain and still utilize the driverack? If not what is the best way to combine the systems?
Members Mogwix
Don't bother. If it's a huge area, you could use the Ions for outfills or as delay speakers, but IMO it'll end up being way more trouble than it's worth.

If you don't have enough gear to do it right (and understand what you are doing), I would recommend hiring this out. It will be more fun for all of you. Members dennis a
and my bandmate's dbx driverack (not sure what model) You would need a DR260 or better to do delay speakers.
