Members agedhorse
Going through a pallet of stuff I moved from my old warehouse and found a pair of 122A drivers that I have no use for. They work but have bad foam surrounds. Make me an offer, they need a better home than they have here. The baskets are pretty clean.
Members dedmeet
I don't have much need of the drivers, but did find new surrounds on line: http://www.amazon.com/Surround-Kit-JBL-122A-128H/dp/B0002ZPO68
Members agedhorse
Yeah, I just don't want to put any money into something I really can't use. I also tend not to go for replacing surrounds, I find that by the time you are all done with things, it's not that much more to recone. To replace surrounds properly, you MUST remove the dustcap, shim glue everything up, then install a new dustcap. About 25% of all refoams fail to perform properly for a variety of reasons. I think we would charge about $95 for a recone so if anybody is interested, they are free to a good home, or reconed for $95 (plus shipping of course).
