He works for a major retailer in the area, mackie had this club pull the house FOH speakers and fly mackies and used the dl32r for a video promo shoot. Besides being a major pain in the ass, the dl32r immediately crashed right before showtime and the ipad wouldn't boot up. No one had a backup ipad available. It was a bit embarrassing. I remember the introduction of the Soundcraft Expression Si with less than stellar reports from the field. It had lockups, a serious lack of features, but people stuck with it because Soundcraft has a good reputation. They eventually got the thing firing on all cylinders and it is one nice digital console now.
