Members joshmac
Heyo. Ive been using this foot tamborine lately. I pieced it together using the cheapest used kick pedal from the drum shop, a tambo i had, and a stand for it. I Mic it with a 57 If used in the right places it sounds cool. Im still getting used to it but here's what it sounds like
Members steve mac
Really like the vids Josh especially the Chillies. Plus I am a sucker for a fiddle. I experimented with all sorts before I settled on the stomp pedal with the tambo attached. There is no doubt yours gets a cleaner, crisper sound but mine just plugs straight in the board without having to mike it and so convenience wins for me. All the best mate. Members joshmac
Thanks Steve! My next experiment is going to be bringing a "Stompin Tom" style plywood stomper to use. I will put this on top, use pedal when I want a crisp tambo sound, and stomp on the plywood when I want a thump (Itll get picked up by tambo mic)
