Members Delmont
ANOTHER IDEA!!! I just realized that I do this a lot: When I'm hearing a song that I really like and admire - or that has something going on that I want to capture - I'll turn off the stereo or radio or whatever and grab my guitar. I don't try to replicate what I was listening to, but while it's still strongly in my head I'll try to create the same feel. It always takes a whole new direction, so there's no imitation or plagiarism. It's just a springboard. And for me, at least, it really works.
