Members MusicalSchizo
I'm pretty excited about it, actually. It was freaky playing the first gig not having gigged almost at all as a guitarist in 8 years (save for one fill-in show that went just okay). I actually had forgotten what a decent (read: passable) lead player I am and how well I play in context as a guitarist. Anyway...it was fun and I'm happy about the new band! Just thought I'd share - it's been a while since I've been active here, mostly because I haven't really been gigging a whole lot so I don't have much to talk about. Brian V. Members vanlatte
I could have almost written this same post! Hit the ground running with a new band after going bananas on gear and learning new music has been rush. And a bit humbling - playing bass seemed like much less pressure
Members WynnD
I'd agree that playing bass generally is less pressure. (I don't play guitar, but I do play keys.) My next gig should be as a bassist on Jun 20th. (And first gig with this band. Getting ready for second rehearsal.)
