Edited 4-10-14- I'm pretty set on the first verse . Like some opinions on the other verses and the bridge so I can wrap this up and try to get music to it and on here. Appreciate everyones help on the original topic page and continued thanks for any more advice you might give. This has been an exciting journey and I'm feeling pretty good about how it's all coming along. You all have opened up a new door and I'm absorbing all I can. I'm really loving this songwriting thanks to you all. In my 4-10-14 edit I shortened up the chorus and Made changes to the verses and bridge. So it's hard for me to judge lyrical content without hearing it in a musical context. Therefore I'm looking forward to hearing the music you put with it. I wouldn't worry about 'wrapping up' the lyrics so you can start on the music. but rather try to be flexible and open to lyrical change as the musical part of the song is composed. At least that's how I approach things. Thanks for your advice, Jasco. Been playing around with ideas for acoustic guitar chord progressions. I dont do the mixxing thing like most folks here. If you can post just a live recording of you playing it on the guitar, that would be great. Don't worry about mixing prowess, if the song is there, we'll hear it.
