Members pdiddy Posted July 29, 2013 Members Share Posted July 29, 2013 My band has been using the K8's for mains for about 4 years and they have been rock solid. Along with a single K-sub, and no backline. We're doing mostly weddings and love that we can have a really full sound right in front of the band on the dancefloor and yet people can hear themselves talk a moderate distance away. We do wired in-ear monitoring but its pretty amazing how much you can hear even from behind the mains without the inears. End of night we are on the road in about 50 mins. I wish the QSC had a monitor angle in it though since floor monitor is one of the uses I desire. The Yamaha is the one I'd like to check out.
