So I open 'er up and here is what was printed: "Now and then, related to onlooker make love to bicep of light bulb.And dance with the dark side of her roller coaster. When lunatic around prime minister is nearest, over hydrogen atom laugh and drink all night with cup from snow. Toward fire hydrant wakes up, because over philosopher take a peek at parking lot inside gonad. If of fetishist confess fighter pilot living with, then looking glass around rejoices." How strange is that? Anybody else get these? Members Bastow Posted May 2, 2004 Members Share Posted May 2, 2004 I believe that a lot of spammers are now using computer-generated lists of random words in headings of emails, and they might also be doing this in the text itself. The message seems almost to have some elements of grammar, but is clearly nonsense, and looks computer-generated to me. The fact that it almost looks grammatical and has some syntax makes it look tantalisingly like a riddle, but I wouldn't waste time on it unless you know the sender might have sent a riddle. Members gobojacobs Posted May 2, 2004 Members Share Posted May 2, 2004 ... unless it's really a mail from kirumamorou, and the reason he's posted about it twice is an attempt to get us to consider it. *removes tinfoil hat* it ALMOST looks like a markov-chain induced text, but i couldn't for the life of my think of what kind of seed-text you'd have to use to generate that (bicep, prime minister, roller coaster, etc. all appearing in one document would be an oddity, at least to me). i'd do some "real" analysis on it (i'm doing independent study on something kind of similar to randomly generated texts, but with music instead), but it's not worth the work until we know it's not just spam. i'm sticking by my chick theory.
