Members joncyberboy
I'm looking at getting a PC peogram to master my tracks and to edit wav files in. Is Soundgorge good? Do i have to buy new plug-ins to use with it?

Members clusterchord
sound forge and wavelab are just editors with some elemntary plug-ins. none of them has the high quality proffesional plug-ins needed for mastering, but they can serve as a host for them. Mastering Software: Waves Mastering Bundle (VST plug-ins) LinEQ, LinMB, L2 T-Racks24 (standalone) FANTASTIC! Or PCI hardware route: UAD Studio PAck (Cambridge EQ, Pultec and Fairchild are fantastic for mastering) If you already own a DAW program like Cubase, Nuendo, Logic , Cakewalk , you dont need another editor for hosting any of the above, you can do it within your DAW. Members keanu reeves
waves and t-racks will both do the job.
Members pgunders
Wave Lab is the way to go. It has good mastering plug-ins, and you'll be able to add on additional stuff (Waves, etc.) as needed. It's also a very powerful CD design/burning program. pgunders
