Members Thumper Posted November 1, 2007 Members Share Posted November 1, 2007 These are the original neck and bridge pickups from my Fender '62 Jazz Bass reissue that I bought new in 1987. The hang tags for the bass state it was inspected in January 1987, and the neck pocket stamp is May 1986. The pickups still sound great after 20+ years. I replaced them with Fender noiseless pups as I'm playing out more now and wanted a hum-canceling set in the bass. Included are newer pup covers identical to the stock ones, and mounting screws. 50 bucks isn't a lot to ask, considering aftermarket pup sets start at $120 and up. Price include shipping to lower 48.
