He used it to get the bass to sit at a different angle when playing which he prefered. I believe I have a better pic that with the strap that I'll try and post here in a moment. Didn't bother me much as it's not seen when your playing & I actually would use it during those longer sets when I started to tire. As I said it put the bass at a different angle which meant using a slightly diferent set of arm muscles - I also like the different angle for taping stuff as well.Leather strap with straplocks will be included with bass.
