I originally had a pair of these - this one, and an identical MIJ model ten years its senior - and this bass was by far my favorite of the two. More thump, more growl, and an all-around fine instrument. Say, $600 + shipping/fees? I could also be tempted by a Fender '72 Deluxe Reissue Telecaster, a quality 4x10 or 8x10 bass cab (if you're local to Tallahassee), or maybe an offset of some kind.
