Members pink floyd cramer
What are some good cd's or tracks of this? I have "Expressions" by Chick Corea, would also like the Bill Evan's solo CD (if he has one). Does Keith Jarret have any solo recordings of standards? I have an excellent shot at a primo solo gig (playing a good acoustic grand:) ) and I want to do some woodshedding before my audition Monday. Wish me luck! Members MBro2
Does Keith Jarret have any solo recordings of standards? I just got Jarrett's "Solo Tribute" DVD, and unlike most of his solo piano works, he performed mostly "short" pieces, including some standards (although in his inimitable style.) The video is only decent; lots of face and foot shots, not enough finger shots. As a plus, he doesn't "sing" much. Oddly, the DVD was cheaper than the CD, and better quality (including 5.1); a trends that extends to many releases these days. I still like his solo improvs better; I hope his Fibromyalgia (or whatever it was) goes away. ---Mike
