Members daddyO
I want to replace our drummer at church with a drum machine and I want to know which one is the easiest to use for a reasonable price but still sound reasonable. We have two drummers at our small church. One is good but unreliable due to 4 kids, a wife and a job. The other is unreliable, grouchy, but is good if you're playing a Hank Williams song - which we don't in church.
Members wishfulsinful909
Not only does the Zoom RhythmTrak sound good and is easy to use, it's easily had for pretty cheap used http://www.samsontech.com/products/productpage.cfm?prodID=177&brandID=4 Good luck
Members GigMan
I love my Alesis SR16 - had it for years, bought it used for $270 in the early 90's, just bought a spare - actually to replace the old one and make it the spare. Still made new - only $149 bucks! You can't beat it...
Members Trux
Agree. The Alesis is a great drum machine, but if you replace the drummer, someone else would have to be the butt of all the jokes. On that subject, anyone know any good drummer jokes? Members Qwave
Hello daddyO, ... unreliable ... We have the same problems at our church band (german only pages: .Maybe this is just a strange coinsidence, or are all drummer unreliable? I don't think so.BTW: our problem is the volume on stage: our drummers all play way to loud. Now we use an electronic drum kit. This helped a lot !!!
