Sad, but true.

Just comes down to making a living.

Up on the sacrificial block:

2002 Schecter Black Hawk.

Supposedly this was a limited edition made in 2002 (just 200 on the block) of the Omen 6 sold by GC. Pretty much the same, but with a satin black finish, and REAL nice MOP (real outta-the-shell) inlays. (BTW, my pix don't actually show the real colors of the MOP, 'cuz I just suck at the photo bit, but they're very cool). Pups are Schecters, test at 15K/17K. And the control knobs are not OEM.

Now, just to be clear, this was an often used axe. Still looks decent from a few feet away, but, well, you know.

It plays just fine, sounds just what you expect. Great neck and fingerboard, frets were leveled, just not crowned. Some oxidation, but nothing obvious from two feet away.

I'm up for purchase or trade (I'm a multi-instrumentaslist, so lotsa leeway) offers.

Some Pix here:

TNX!
