Members irunamok Posted January 10, 2009 Members Share Posted January 10, 2009 Interesting! It's basically a Tom Delonge Strat body (HXX)...and you can't find them around very often. I have one of those with a SD Jazz and it's great! Plays and feels like a Strat but sounds like a Les Paul. This would be a great project but it's obv not routed for that pickguard. I don't think you'll have any trouble moving this if you don't go crazy on the price. I don't need two or I would be all over this. Good luck! You Gibson guys should build this. I honestly don't know what would be a fair price for it, that's why I simply wanted to trade it up for a pedal. I know they're not as common as the s/s/s + tremolo , but I dunno. if anyone can shed some light in my direction, that would be cool as well. irunamok It does sound warmer than your typical strat.. and the sustain is pretty nice too.
