I recently had famed relic guitar designers Mark & Matt Jenny build me this body: http://mjtagedfinishes.com/custom.htm and the attention to detail is amazing....body really looks 50 years old. It is 100% Nitrocellulose Lacquer, given a Relic treatment based on Eddie Vegas's $5,000 Fender Custom Shop. I specified that I wanted the lightest body they had at any cost..... this is a 1 piece Swamp Ash body that weighs a mere 3lbs, 2oz. This super light ash is what Fender uses on many of the high dollar custom shop models for it's acoustical quality when the guitar is unplugged.
