I have a guyatone micro compressor which is really good, but is real clean like a Ross pedal. I have always wanted a Dan armstrong orange squeezer, which gives a real neat percussive vibe, (listen to lead on "Sultans Of Swing" Dire Straits. Problem, no pedal company makes them except the boutique guys. Anyways, found a guy who sells kits and he is making me one that is bare bones but will give the sound, Nashville studio guys have used these for years, Vince Gill uses a boutique one.
