This is a beautiful guitar - Martin "D-35" copy (?) - with a lovely tone! Comes with hard case. Take a look at photo album of pics here: http://www.netlimo.com or check out the Acoustic Guitar forum here for our discussion about this guitar (under MIJ Martin Copy) A collector in Japan tells me this guitar has a solid spruce top, side and back are rosewood, neck is mahogany, ebony fretboard, high grade volute neck, snow flake inlay, (mini) flower pot head inlay. I bought the guitar new about 30 years ago, have taken very good care of it all this time, and I'm looking for a buyer who will appreciate what s/he is getting! But you are about triple what you will get MIJ acoustics from the 70's just don't fetch that kind of money......not an insult but your in used D-18GE,D-28,HD-28 territory at $1500 man.If it were mine I'd keep it,because $500 is about what you should expect TOPS...and i would expect a lot of offers in the 200-250 range.Good Luck, like i said its beautiful.
