Members tangerine
I have a Akai MPD-16 and I think that the pads are a bit hard for my taste. The pads on Akai MPC-2000XL and MPC-3000 has softer feel to them. How is the M-audio Trigger Finger pads?
Members Muz
They're soft, and quite playable IMO. Of course I played it after spending some time with a Zendrum (hard plastic pads).

Members Muz
I'm probably going to buy one myself, for recording drum tracks and for triggering loops live. Keyboard magazine just did a review, here's another opinion on the pads: "They seem to have taken great care in choosing the best feeling material I've ever had the pleasure to caress. It's like a baby's bottom. Like real Corinthian leather. Had Solomon's beloved had skin that felt like this, the Song of Solomon would be pages longer and steamier than it already is. These pads are dead sexy." Do you think he likes them?
Members urbanscallywag
I'm not sure I'd like my drumpads to feel like a child's bottom. M and J aren't my initials.
