Members Reincaster
I'd assume this is a pre-Ultra amp, so I'm guessing it's fairly high gain? the "Bottom, Body, Edge" names for Treble, Mid, and Bass seem to suggest that.

Those are the same names for the controls including the boosts on the Ultra Plus. I've never heard one before but have read some good things about them. I've never heard one before but have read some good things about them. That's what I said. Peavey's high gain amps, like the Ultra, XXX, and JSX (Ultra channel) all have those names for controls, which leads me to believe it's a mid - high gain amp. Members guitarman1956
On the clean side, how loud can you get the amp before it starts breaking up? Thanks
Members luke978
The clean channel gets loud, but it starts breaking up about 1/2 way on the dial. The gain channel is about 1/2 as loud as the clean channel. Its fairly high gain.
