Members Munchlaxatives
I thought I had a deal done for a Charvel, but that seems to be falling apart(saw the guy list it last night.) I'm looking for a 112, I'll help cover shipping. Anyway, it has a DiMarzio X2N in the bridge and a Duncan-designed neck humbucker. It's an alder body, so if you want a metal guitar, this is it. I gotta say...it's too hot for me. Anyway, he's one really oversized pic, I'll take more on request. There's a few small dings, nothing serious. Members Munchlaxatives
It depends. I'm considering getting both since they both have sounds I like; I love single coils on Valvekings, but I prefer the B-52 for humbuckers.
Members stringsNstuff
the peavey would be best for quality
Members Munchlaxatives
It's good for modding if that's what you mean. The B-52 is usually $100 or so cheaper, so it's a better value.

I sunk alot in repairs with my old B-52 AT100 head, it became a nightmare. never had a problem when I owned my valveking 112, and it was built like a sherman tank. just trying to help. good luck on your serch
Members Munchlaxatives
The 112 Combo's had issues with the initial release, but since then, B-52 actually addressed all the problems and maybe coincidentally dropped the price. On the other hand, I have a Peavey, I know how well they hold up after a decade of use. I can't say the same for B-52.
