Members elsongs Posted December 15, 2005 Members Share Posted December 15, 2005 Yeah I dig a lot of their stuff...I met Seiji a few years ago during one of his DJ gigs. A lot of that West London Broken-Beat sound uses vintage gear like Minimoog, Fender Rhodes, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if they use software though, but from what I know, their production style is relatively "old-school" with MIDI sequencing and the use of hardware synths/samplers/drum machines. Recently I saw Mark de Clive-Lowe perform, who isn't part of Bugz per se but is part of the same genre, and he does a live show with An MPC3000, 2 Korg MS2000s, a Roland Juno-60, a Hohner D6 Clav and a Fender Rhodes.
