Members Bazzo
Hi, I would like to learn to play like Brian Setzer. That's it. How do I start? I'm not a beginner, been playing mostly blues and rock, some jazzy stuff for years. But would like to find out more about his methods on phrasing, scales, chord progressions ... Anybody??? Thanks, B. Members 335clone
Have you tried to play 'stray cat strut'? I'm working on it, and picking up a lot of his style from it. Helps to have a semi hollow guitar and a good reverb.
Members H535
Brian Setzer has a hot licks video that covers his style, pedals, amps and anything else you would want to know. Great video. Covers alot of stuff off of the BSO albums even though the video came out before BSO did.

I picked up a lot of techniques off of it and as we all know, learning one new thing opens up countless new doors...
